IRIE SESSIONS × BAYO (2024–2025)
Limited Tour Merchandise Collaboration
Rooted in Port-au-Prince and shaped in Brooklyn, Michaël Brun has built BAYO into a global celebration of Haitian culture, blending sound, movement, and community.
In 2024–2025, Irie Sessions partnered with BAYO to develop a series of limited-edition hats released exclusively across Brun’s American tour, including his landmark Barclays Center show.
Grounded in shared Brooklyn roots, creative director Aday and Michaël Brun approached the collaboration through a lens of diaspora identity and cultural storytelling. Each piece was designed as more than merchandise, a physical extension of both the BAYO and IRIE experience.
Worn by artists and cultural figures including Naika, Victoria Monét, Chopstix, J Balvin, and Rutshelle, the hats quickly became markers of presence within the movement.
The rollout was intentionally scarce: no online release, no restocks, only available in the rooms where the music lived.
A product not just to wear, but to remember.
